ALL THAT WE SEE. A SERIES CREATED DURING LOCKDOWN 2020
‘All that we see,’ is a suite of large-format digital paintings that reflect the touching points from everyday
and every night thoughts, our relationship with each other in the world around us.
Based in a dreamscape of reality, the series is comprised of imagined scenes with flurries of elements entering
as if scattered through dreams with dominating symbolism – but left in a ‘woke early’ state.
SMALL MAN. BIG CAT.
In life, there are external forces beyond our control which will try to rule or overpower our being, especially in
love and relationships.
Here is a depiction of an individual being, travelling towards the ‘Baetylus’ or Sacred Stone symbolically revered
by Aphrodite and kept near the temple at Palaeopaphos, but we see a formidable obstacle between them.
However, in our dreamscape, we are unsure as to what we witness.
Three powerful symbolic forces – love, strength, courage – but a number of hidden scenarios.
