Within the celebration of Spring, this pastorale observes the re-birth with firework-like explosions of brightly coloured new growth witnessed by a reclining female figure reminiscent of Henry Moores figures in the Landscape.
The size of the figure allows the viewer to experience the sense of our proportion within the universe surrounding us, as well as view the scene from an external perspective but also experience the sense of being part of it.
